Fall is quickly approaching bringing cooler temperatures, apples and pumpkins, colorful foliage, and fun! Are you looking for something interesting to do? Fall is pumpkin and apple time and there are many farms and orchards in the area to pick your own (no matter your age!) or just go buy them in a local market. Check out these websites for more information; then spend a “day date” or grab your kids or grandkids and make a memory with the whole family.
Jacquemin Farms – Fetch pumpkins from the field, work your way through the straw maze and munch on some apples at this popular farm and market.
CherryHawk Farms – Apples and sunflowers abound at this fun family farm. Come pick some apples and bring home extras for those savory pies!
Leeds Farm – What’s not to love about Leeds Farm? There is something for everyone, whether you’re attending one of their events or just heading out for a visit. Pick pumpkins, feed the goats, have fun with the Back 40 barnyard activities, and so much more!
The Orchard and Company – Numerous activities and entertainment for the kids make this a great destination. Pick apples and pumpkins, eat delicious food from the café, and but fall items from the market.
Maize at Little Darby Creek – Activities include a petting zoo, hayrides, pumpkin patch, and the famed corn mazes. This year’s corn maze celebrates the 50thanniversary of the first moonwalk.

Ohio Caverns – Experience the natural wonders in this 35-acre park. See Ohio’s largest cavern. Take a picnic and make a day of it!
Dalton Union Winery & Brewery – Visit Union County’s only craft brewery on Fridays and Saturdays. Featuring wine, craft beer, and hard ciders, you’ll love the location. Check their Events page for happenings through October.
Upland Marysville Reservoir – Have you found this gem? Located off of Raymond Road, this beautiful reservoir features a 2-mile path around the water where small fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are allowed. Relish the picturesque country views, farms, fields, and a view for miles. This is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing walk.
Sunrise Sanctuary - This non-profit organization provides permanent shelter of formally neglected, abused, disabled, or unwanted farm and companion animals. They feature Open Barn Days, (Upcoming are Sept. 21 and Oct. 19.) Buy tickets in advance and visit with these wonderful animals. What a unique way to get your animal fix and help them out!
Piatt Castles - Head out for one of their events or just go visit the castles when they are open this fall. They’re pretty amazing! The last day for tours at Mac-O-Chee is October 6. Mac-A-Cheek will remain open weekends through October 27 and will re-open for tours mid-April 2020.

Friday Nights Uptown Marysville – The last one is Friday, October 4th. Don’t miss this fun and popular event.
Oktoberfest at the Union County Fairgrounds – Prost and all things Oktoberfest hosted by Tap That Growlers. Free admission and kid-friendly. Saturday, September 28 from 12-8pm.
Marysville Chocolate Walk – This tasty event on October 18th sells out quickly so get your tickets now! Eat local chocolates and support the restoration of the Avalon Uptown Theatre. 20+ stores are participating.
Union County Covered Bridge Festival September 27 and 28 – Dine on the Bridge is sold out but you can still buy tickets to BBQ on the Bridge or Sunday Worship Service and Breakfast on the Bridge-you choose.
