“It’s an easy lifestyle for us and we love the location”, says Sandra. After selling their home quickly and knowing they were ready to downsize, Sandra and Malcolm bought a ranch condominium in Liberty Grand. While making the change from a free standing home to an attached ranch condo has been a bit different, they are happy with their decision to move to Liberty Grand! We’re thrilled they’ve chosen Liberty Grand for their new lifestyle. Read more to see what they have to say about living in Liberty Grand.
We have lived here for 2 ½ months and we love it. We bought a 2 bedroom, 2 bath spec condo with a grand suite and sunroom.
We love the floor plan, the openness, the clean lines, and the fact that the community is close to everything. It is a different lifestyle for us living in an attached condo. We are retired but still work. We want to travel more and be able to shut the door and leave it, knowing that when we come back everything will be just fine. This home allows us to do that. We like the community and the conveniences (shopping, restaurants and the hospital) that are close by. We knew we had to downsize but we have a large family and still needed to have room when we get together. The sunroom allows for spill over when we need it. This home is a good compromise for us.
We loved Cathy and picking out our selections with her. We moved into a market home that was in drywall so we got to pick all of our finishes-countertops, cabinets, etc., but we were limited to what units we could choose because we had sold our home and wanted to get in quickly. We were able to change the bath to a zero-entry shower in the second bath. I might have changed a few things if I’d built from scratch. I think I would have considered a custom fireplace mantel. The condo work was kept very clean was very clean and everyone very respectful. Overall we are very happy.
The low maintenance, the open floorplan, and all of the light. I love the patio and we have a little bit of a lake view, which we love. I love the look of the homes with the stone and the color scheme.
Check out the area. Make sure this is where you want to be if you’re downsizing. Be in good health if you’re moving. The location was really important to me, so do your research and really look to see if everything you want is nearby. Come several times to watch what’s going on. I watched the traffic flow and the amount of traffic in the area and how many cars were parked in the neighborhood. Stay on top of all communication and ask questions. The ease of moving here might be appealing if you are ready to downsize. This would appeal to those that want an easier lifestyle. It’s different to live in attached condos and you have to understand the closeness with neighbors and less privacy.
